New flags are in!!! The whole family will enjoy a fun filled day going back in history. The
Stuart White Horse Museum "Remember When History Day"
provides something for everyone. Children can participate in the experience
of attending a real one room school house from the early 1900's, including
recess with its great old games and rides on the old merry-go-round. View
the displays and exhibits of Sandhills pioneer life from machinery, clothing
and furniture to musical instruments, kitchen utensils and an amazing
photographic display from the early 1900's. All are housed in the 8 original
structures dating back to the mid 1800's which make up the Stuart White
Horse Museum Heritage Village. Take a horse drawn buggy ride or climb
aboard the 1929 Fire Truck for spin around town. Enjoy the musical entertainment,
listen to storytellers, watch the blacksmith or enter the watermelon eating
contest. |
